Edit, SOLVED! For anyone else who may have this, it was the kernel. Updating to kernel 6.8xxx fixed it perfectly !

Did anyone have any luck launching Linux versions of DOSBox GOG games using Heroic?

PSA: If your controller rumble isn't working in Silksong, then try forcing Proton in the game's properties on Steam

I verified that my controller's rumble worked fine, yet I had no controller rumble in Silksong. I fixed it by forcing Proton 9.0-4 in Silksong's settings: 1. Navigate to: Steam Library>Silksong>right-click>Properties>Compatibility 2. Check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" 3. Select "Proton 9.0-4" from the dropdown.

Kazeta: the new Linux-based physical media OS (my article!)

Kazeta is a new OS by the creator of ChimeraOS. You might have seen some news on it in the last few days, or at least some posts on social media. Its not trying to be the next big gaming platform, it’s more like a little love letter to the *old* style of gaming. Instead of all those menus, online accounts, and updates, it takes things back to the basics: stick in a 'cartridge' you make yourself, turn on the system, and play. That’s it! No fuss, just the game you wanted to play.
